My Dad Rocks!

We've had a fun week around here...Emily just finished her spring session of rock climbing club at school and we've been climbing with some good freinds at AZ on the rocks a few times a month for the past 6 months or so. My dad had been wanting to see Emily climb so we invited him to go with us.....well he thought he was just coming to watch Emily, but we were pretty sure he needed to climb...after watching the training video and some hands on time with one of the great instructors he was off and climbing even learned how to belay (that's the person who holds the ropes of the climber) and was able to belay for both Em and I.

Oh and then there was this.....My rockin' dad was honered by the Arizona Golf Association with the Dr Ed Updegraff Award. The AGA's highest honor given in recognition of distinguished sportsmanship in golf. Emiy and I were lucky to be able to join my parents, grandmother, brother and sister in law at Phoenix Country Club for the AGA's anual meeting where my dad was presented with this great honor.













Way to go dad we love you, you definitely ROCK!
